Shane Matthew Cathey, 31 of Springfield, TN passed on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at his home. Shane was born on October 22, 1987 in Springfield, TN to parents Douglas W. Tomlin and Debra Kay Cathey. He is survived by his mother, step father H.G. Roberts, Jr., daughter Marigold Rose Cathey, brothers Rocky Arlee and Joshua Wayne Cathey, sisters Kimberly Ann and Jessica Cathey, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Douglas Wayne Tomlin. The family has requested donations in memory of Shane to help with funeral expenses. The visitation and service for Shane Matthew Cathey will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, Tn 37015 on Saturday February 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm.
