Sherry Balthrop Woelk -65

Sherry Balthrop Woelk, 65 of Ashland City, passed away on Sunday April 8th, 2018 at her home. Sherry was born on August 28, 1952 in Amarillo, TX to the late John and Betty (Cumpler) Balthrop. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Woelk, and brothers Johnny, Daryl and Vaughn Balthrop. She is survived by sister Rhonda (Darrell) Bowery, nephew John W. Mayo, niece Niki Lynn Mayo, Austin and Aspin Morris, and a niece that Sherry considered as her daughter, Shanika Tarpley. The two day visitation will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015 on Monday April 9th from 4 until 8 pm and on Tuesday from 10 am until time of service at 11:00 am with Bro. Wayne Bess officiating. Burial will follow at the Ever Rest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Sherry be made to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
